The story of the "Egyptian Curse" -part (1)

The Egyptian desert spread over the sight in front of eyes of the British (Howard Carty), who trying to dry the sweat, which began to shed heavily on his forehead and face, as he stands under the rays of the sun in that spot, where his researchs and studies led to, to search for a cemeteries of the kings of ancient Pharaohs..
This was in the second decade of the twentieth century, when the fever of the researches reached its peak, especially after the amazing archaeological statements, made by Germans archaeologists, who found the remains of (Trojan), in 1871, in North West of (Turkey), as well Sir (Arthur Evans), who revealed in the wilderness Palace (Crete), in 1900, to prove that the myth of "Minotaur" were not just pure imagination. .
(Howard Carter) dreams of the accession of his name to the list of these genius archaeologists, who have dug their names in the history of the discoveries in letters of gold, and that is what making him stands the heat, hot sand, and sweat, for several months, and during these long months, his campaign financier Lord (Carnarvon) visited him only one time, then left him to the torment, and returned back to his highbred British palace, boasting the largest financing of a campaign to search for the Egyptian Antiquities ..

Until the month of February 1922 ..

at that time, (Howard Carter) found on what was looking for all the time..
the cemetery of little king (Tutankhamun) ..
actually,(Carter) wasn't a nameless or simple archaeological, as he lives in (Egypt), since 1890 for excavations, setting a map of known archeological sites ..
This is also not the first its disclosures; as he had several fossils in the Valley of the Kings, funded by some adventurous Americans, enabled him for the issuance of the famous book (five years for the Bills in the archaeological Teba) ..
in spite of this, he was so impressed..
he impressed by the imaginary amount of treasures in the cemetery of the young king "Tut" and Gold, which made him even sending a quick telegram to the Lord (Carnarvon); to attend on the spot, while he got busy drawing of what was seen inside the cemetery ..
even those words, which attracted his attention and interest..
non-traditional hieroglyphic words, found etched on one of the doors of the cemetery, says:

"Nefertiti"...the pretty Queen

It is always referred to beautiful "Nefertiti", which her name means "beautiful woman had been approached," as one of the most powerful women in ancient Egypt, her grave was found near the tomb of King Tutankhamun "Tut",the son of her husband "Akhenaton", who ruled Egypt in the fourteenth century b.c.

Actually, "Nefertiti" who belongs to the eighteenth family in pharaonic Egypt and lived in the fourteenth century b.c, had so high class and degree during the rule of her husband known as "Akhenaton", but like what happened with her husband , her name has been wiped from most of historical records and as well her pictures after her death.

It is known that Nefertiti or her family weren't being royal blood in origin, but she was linked to the palace, in some way, and as well, she supported her husband during his religious and social revolution, and then moved with him to the city "Okhittatun" or "Tel el-Amarna" nowadays, to worship the god, "Aten ", as she played a key role in the dissemination of new concepts advocated by her husband, and appeared with him during the ceremonies and rituals, and as well in the corresponding conventional military campaigns, which depicted the Queen elimination of enemies, and can be seen on the walls of Aten temples and tombs of Tel el-Amarna.

Nefertiti had died in the fourth year of the rule of Akhnaton, and it is possible she have been buried in the royal graves in the Tel el-Amarna, but actually her mummy could not be found on the mummy till now. The paucity of information available on this beautiful queen is due to the role played by Akhenaton in the insurgence to the gods, and as well, return to the doctrine of monotheism, which revolved around the sun god, "Aten", which required from following families to erase everything related to Akhnaton and his wife,"Nefertiti"

Anyway ,the precedence for the discovery of the wonderful statue of the ancient Egyptian queen, was to the German archaeologists who found it during the excavations conducted in 1912 in the "Tel el-Amarna," from that time, the statue is retained in the Berlin Museum after it have been restored and repaired.

This statue of the Queen ,which is up to the age of 3300 years old, made of colored limestone and plaster, which accurately reflects the attractions of an amazingly beautiful woman, generally attractive, and with a long neck, nose, wearing an unique conical head, so she was given the title (Nfro Nfro Aten) words, means (pretty of beauty of Aten).

And till now, the statue of Nefertiti is a source of disagreement between Cairo and Berlin for years, as Cairo always calls for the queen return back again to her mother land but Berlin refuses leaning on the international law which doesn't gives countries the right to restore any monuments left abroad before 1972.

What about ur opinion? ..do you think it is really a right for a country to restore its monuments…and do u think that the mother land is the natural and self-evident home for its treasures??.. or you think it must be right for those who paid the time and money for excavation and already keeps them for too long years?

Egyptian archeologic team reveals the mystery of death of king "Tut "..

A team headed by Dr. Zahi Hawass ,Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Antiquities in Egypt reveals the mystery of the death of King "Tutankhamen", who died before 3000 years ago, for the first time since his tomb was discovered by the British archaeologist "Howard Carter", 85 years ago.

This news published in an interview with him for the program "Good Morning ,Egypt" in the Egyptian TV as he said that the scan by x-ray on the mummy of the king showed that it was a hunting accident and he wasn't killed, as his war wheel turned around resulting in injury in his left foot.

He continued to say that research and studies by the British scholar "Howard Carter" on the mummy of the King, made it incoherent, which required considerable effort in the assembly, adding that Tut was known after his death because of his tomb which is found in a healthy state.

He said also that many of the treasures of the king had been found on the cemetery, as well, the head mask and his mummy with a lot of jewelry, which led Carter and his team to cut into small pieces of jewelry to be removed from these parties, and separated the head and used the wires and tools for ridding the golden mask, which was fused on the King during the Pharaonic embalming process.

He added that the body has been installed and returned to his coffin in 1926 where he was out only three times for X-ray surveys in subsequent years, adding that the treasures found in his cemetery attracted millions of tourists to the Valley of the Kings to see it.

*Actually there are several archeologists theories about why the death of Tutankhamen, a young age where he died, aged 19 years, some said he was killed because he tried to worship multiple gods as he followed Akhnaten and his monotheistic religion.
The Egyptian civilization linked always to the old world and the idea of the revival once again, which was the main reason behind the idea of embalming.
Anyway, the recent discoveries was able to uncover the stages of embalming, which has been a puzzle to the scientists for too long years ago…and maybe it reveals more in the future.
